More than 200 participants, including students from ten secondary schools, their teachers and parents; representatives from a number of non-governmental organizations, the Hospital Authority and MINDSET attended the closing ceremony of the fourth Health in Mind programme.
第四屆「Teen使行動 - 青少年思健推廣計劃」閉幕典禮共有二百人參加，包括來自十間中學的學生、老師和家長，以及來自醫院管理局、「思健」和多間非政府機構的代表。

Another Successful Year for 'Health in Mind'
Participants in the Health in Mind programme came together at Exchange Square in Central to celebrate the successful conclusion of the fourth year of the mental health initiative. This year, the programme recruited 120 student advocates. Over 100 in-school activities and volunteer services were organized, benefiting some 500 people suffering or recovering from mental illness.
More than 200 participants, including students from ten secondary schools, their teachers and parents; representatives from a number of non-governmental organizations, the Hospital Authority and MINDSET attended the closing ceremony.
Officiating at the event, Shane Solomon, Chief Executive of the Hospital Authority, stressed the importance of the business sector in helping the Authority to achieve its corporate vision. "We are immensely grateful to Jardines for their generous and continuous funding through MINDSET for this meaningful programme."
During the ceremony, schools' representatives shared their experiences of various activities, which included visits to local hospitals and workshops on mental health related topics, such as eating disorders and drug abuse. This was followed by a series of fashion shows where students presented the winning designs of in-school competitions. These featured items such as T-shirts promoted mental health to their fellow students. Certificates were presented to workshop speakers, volunteer service partners and participating schools in recognition of their efforts throughout the year.
In addition, some 20 outstanding students from participating schools, selected by Jardine Ambassadors and teachers based on their performance in the Health in Mind programme during the year, were offered two to four week job placements within Group business units. The companies are Dairy Farm, The Excelsior Hong Kong, Gammon Construction, Hongkong Land, Jardine Aviation Services group, Jardine Engineering Corporation, Jardine Schindler Group, Jardine Shipping Services, Jardine OneSolution, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental and Zung Fu.
In the next academic year, MINDSET will continue to partner with the Hospital Authority and community partner, the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong in running the Health in Mind programme to raise awareness of mental health issues in Hong Kong.
○五/○六年度「Teen使行動 - 青少年思健推廣計劃」圓滿結束
「Teen使行動 – 青少年思健推廣計劃」參加者早前齊集中環交易廣場，慶祝計劃順利完成第四年。今年計劃招募了共一百二十名學生成為思健大使，舉辦了逾百個校內活動及義工服務，讓五百多名精神病患者及康復者受惠。是次閉幕典禮共有二百人參加，包括來自十間中學的學生、老師和家長，以及醫院管理局、「思健」和多個非政府機構的代表。
醫管局行政總裁蘇利民主持儀式時強調，醫管局實現目標的過程中，商界作出的貢獻尤其重要：「我們非常感謝怡和集團透過『思健』對這個有意義的計劃作出慷慨及長期的資助。」
典禮中，多位思健大使代表分享了他們在各項活動中的寶貴體驗，例如探訪本地醫院，以及參加探討「飲食失調」、「濫藥」等問題的精神健康專題工作坊。分享過後，學生們又以「花生騷」形式，展示校內設計比賽的得獎作品，其中包括向同學宣揚精神健康的T恤等。接著，工作坊的講者、參與義工服務的機構及學校代表，均獲大會頒發獎狀，答謝他們一年來的支持。
然後，大會宣佈由怡和親善大使及老師，根據各學生在過去一年參與「Teen使行動」期間的表現，選出二十名傑出同學。他們將獲怡和集團旗下公司，包括：牛奶公司、香港怡東酒店、金門建築、置地公司、怡中航空服務、怡和機器、怡和迅達、怡和船務、怡和科技、置地文華東方酒店及仁孚行等，安排為期二至四周的實習機會。
展望下一學年，「思健」將繼續與醫管局攜手合作，連同社區合作夥伴－香港小童群益會，一起推廣「Teen使行動」，提升香港社會對精神健康的認識。 |
