As part of that support, MINDSET sponsored YangAi's sixth annual conference for parents and professionals, which was held in Guangzhou under the theme 'The Child Within the Family'. Topics covered ranged from behaviour - both normal and abnormal - to relationships within the family and the problems of repetitive behaviour in children.

MINDSET Supports Second Year Mental Health First Aid Training Course
For the second year running, MINDSET is supporting a mental health first aid training course run by the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong with a donation of over HK$450,000.

A pilot project run last year proved most successful with 403 people attending the 15-hour courses. During this year, it is hoped to run courses for some 400 families, carers and others involved in looking after the mentally ill. Refresher seminars or workshops will also be held for people who wish to have further training, and local training materials including a manual are to be produced.
