Workshops on Love & Sex
Two workshops were held on 26th February, 2005. The first one was on Relationship conducted by Mrs Rachel Poon, Senior Clinical Psychologist of Kwai Chung Hospital. She shared with students ways to handle the common hurdles they faced in a relationship, e.g. how to say goodbye, settle a triangular relationship, etc. To stimulate students' thinking on how they should correctly perceive love and relationship, the Ambassadors staged four love scenes of a story that was written by Mrs Poon. Through other interactive activities, students learnt the importance of respecting others - a useful motto for their adolescent development.

In the afternoon, another workshop focused on Sex was held. Aiming to help students build up positive attitude on the subject, it also clarified some of their misconceptions. Dr Tsang Fan Kwong, Senior Medical Officer of Castle Peak Hospital addressed this "embarrassing" but "curious" issue in an interesting way. In this workshop, students learnt the significance in developing a strong, safe and healthy relationship with the opposite sex to avoid damage to both physical and mental health.

The Ambassadors would like to take this opportunity to thank Gammon Construction and the staff at Gammon Technology Park in Tseung Kwan O for lending their premises to hold the workshops. Students took advantage to visit the laboratory and learnt about the advanced technology and equipments used in construction industry.

「Teen使行動」工作坊
「Teen使行動」於二零零五年二月二十六日舉行了兩個工作坊。第一個由葵涌醫院高級心理學家潘麥瑞雯醫生主講，主題為「愛與誠」。

潘麥瑞雯醫生與同學分享在處理感情問題時所需的正確態度。經歷戀愛及感情問題是成長階段中必定遇到的事情，如何處理及在過程中學習減輕對自己及對方的傷害才是正面的解決方案。怡和親善大使現場演繹麥醫生的作品「愛的千千面」其中的四個情節，讓同學就該情節的發展／決定／取向作討論。工作坊目標是讓學生理解戀愛是讓人成長的平台，並教導他們正確的戀愛價值觀，學習尊重異性，發展及改善自己。

下午舉行的工作坊由青山醫院高級主任曾繁光醫生主講，主題為「談情說性」。曾醫生用生動有趣的形式講解這既敏感又尷尬的課題，解釋同學們對「性知識」的謬誤，藉以建立正確的「性」觀念。同學們在這工作坊學習到若兩性間能建立一個穩固、健康、及安全的關係，身體及精神健康受到的傷害將可減至最低。

是日活動在金門建築位於將軍澳的科技園舉行，在此謹向金門及科技園的同事致謝。同學們亦藉此機會參觀其實驗室內各式各樣建築行業使用的先進科技及儀器。

Volunteer Services
In 2004/05 academic year, each school participating in the 'Health In Mind' Programme will have to pair up with a hospital or a non-government organization to perform three volunteer services in this academic year. These mental health organizations/ hospitals include Castle Peak Hospital; Kowloon Hospital; Kwai Chung Hospital; Caritas Jockey Club Lai King Rehabilitation Centre; Po Leung Kuk Shek Kip Mei Vocational Services Center; The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong Hin Kin House, The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong Lei Cheng Uk House; and Tung Wah Group of Hospital.

The three services were conducted on 19th March, 16th April and 14th May respectively. Students planned and organized various activities such as visiting country parks, singing karaoke, making photo frames and balloon twisting, etc. for mentally ill patients and rehabilitated individuals, according to their needs and interest.

The Ambassadors were pleased to see significant changes on students' attitudes towards this group of underprivileged. From being afraid to talk to them, some students have now developed a very good relationship with the patients. This kind of face-to-face interaction proved to be the most effective way to reduce the stigma on those with mental problems.

Not only that students have changed, staff of these agencies also noticed that patients showed improvements on communicating with outsiders - a really positive sign of their getting ready to re-integrate with the community.

義工服務
每間參加二零零四/零五學年「Teen使行動」計劃的學校均與一間醫院或精神病康復者組織合作進行三次義務工作。他們分別為青山醫院，九龍醫院，葵涌醫院，明愛賽馬會荔景社會服務中心，保良局石硤尾職業服務中心，香港心理衛生會顯徑宿舍，香港心理衛生會李鄭屋宿舍，東華三院楊成紀念長期護理院。

三次義務工作已分別在三月十九日、四月十六日及五月十四日完成。學生根據有關機構的要求及院友的興趣，設計了不同的活動，如到郊野公園、唱歌、製作相架及扭汽球等。

怡和親善大使見證學生在透過服務後，不但加深了對精神病患者的認識，亦學習到跟他們相處的正確態度。大部份同學首次與病友接觸時均戰戰兢兢，但透過往後的接觸，他們已建立了友好關係。這類義務工作能有效地消除學生對精神病患者的歧視與偏見。

除學生有改變外，復康機構的工作人員亦注意到院友與人溝通的技巧亦進步了不少，為他們重新投入社會作好準備。

Parent / Teacher Seminars
The 'Health in Mind' Programme has organized two Parent/Teacher Seminars on 18th February and 29th April 2005. The objective of organizing these training workshops was to enhance mental health knowledge of parents, teachers and social workers, so that they can assist adolescents to tackle the problems arising in different life stages.

The speaker of the first seminar on Emotional Management was Mrs Dorothy Chan, former supervisor of Law Ting Pong Secondary School. Parents found the tips and skills they learnt from Mrs Chan were useful to enhance their communications with their children.

The second seminar on Mental Health of Teenagers was delivered by Ms Sonia Cheng, Clinical Psychologist of Kwai Chung Hospital. The speaker reminded the participants, mostly parents and teachers, of the importance to manage teenagers' negative emotions to prevent them from developing mental illness.

家長教師講座
「Teen使行動」分別在二月十八日及四月廿九日晚舉行了兩個家長教師培訓講座。目的為加強家長，教師及社會工作者對精神健康的認識，從而幫助子女渡過成長要面對的困難。

第一個培訓講座的講者是前胡定邦中學總監陳鄭美珠女士，主題為「疏導青少年情緒」。家長表示，講者給予的提示及技巧有效地提升他們與子女的溝通。

第二個培訓講座的講者是葵涌醫院心理學家鄭淑儀女士，主題為「青少年的精神健康」。參加者大部為家長及教師。講者提醒在座參予者要關注青少年負面的情緒，以防止發展成精神病。

Joint School Drama Competition
On 30th April, the first joint-school activity, a drama competition, was held at Kwai Chung Hospital. Five schools in Kwai Chung and Tsuen Wan district participated in this event. Students developed their storyboard and scripts based on mental health themes/topics learnt from previous workshops. Results of the awards were as follows:

The event was a success, enabling students to enhance their learnings and exchange their viewpoints on mental health issues.

聯校廣播劇創作比賽
首屆思健學會聯校活動-精神健康廣播劇創作比賽於四月三十日假葵涌醫院舉行，共有五間葵菁區學校參與。同學必須以精神健康為主題，並依據工作坊所學到的知識而創作劇本。比賽結果如下:

是次活動非常成功，除了加深同學對精神健康的認識外，更讓他們互相交流學習的成果。
