Pizza Hut Visit for MHA
The students of the Cheers Gallery of Mental Health Association(MHA) paid a visit to Kwun Tong Pizza Hut in the afternoon of 27th July. Cheers Gallery offers various Catering Training Courses for ex-mentally ill patients to help them acquire the necessary job skills to reintegrate into the society. This visit gave the students an opportunity to understand the operations of a restaurant.

Accompanied by Bowie and Tony, Restaurant Managers of Pizza Hut, 12 students and tutors had an interesting tour around the dining and kitchen areas of the restaurant. The students also watched a live pizza making demonstration. They were very amazed and asked a lot of questions.

After the tour, they had some food and drinks in the restaurant and continued their discussions with the hosts. They were very impressed by how Pizza Hut operates successfully with 'CHAMPS' philosophy and 'How We Worth Together' (HWWT) culture.

At the same time, Pizza Hut fully supported Re-integration Group's Job Placement Programme by providing training opportunities at restaurants to ex-mentally ill patients.

他們一行十二人在分店經理Bowie及Tony陪同下，參觀必勝客的餐廳和廚房，並即場欣賞整個薄餅製作過程。學員們都感到很有趣，還不時提出問題。

參觀完畢，大家一起分享必勝客美食，在輕鬆的氣氛下繼續與職員討論。他們都表示對必勝客的營運理念CHAMPS和公司文化HWWT留下了深刻的印象。

與此同時，必勝客積極參與融合小組推動的就業安排計劃，過往已為精神病康復者提供不少工作實習機會。

運動同樂日
融合小組與怡和體育會再度合作，讓心理衛生會的會員參與怡和體育會於九月二十六日在灣仔運動場舉行的運動同樂日。除了各項緊張刺激的比賽外，大會更設立一個攤位遊戲供小朋友玩樂，還為在場觀眾示範一場為時十五分鐘的精神健康操表演。

Kwai Chung Hospital Mid-Autumn Festival Carnival
The Jardine Ambassadors joined Kwai Chung Hospital's Mid-Autumn Carnival on 25th September to celebrate the seasoned festival with the patients. They were invited to be the judging panel to select winners of the Lantern Design Competition. It was a difficult task as most of the entries, handcrafted by patients themselves, were well designed.

During the visit, the Ambassadors presented 40 boxes of moon cake to the Hospital, which were donated by Gammon Construction Ltd. The patients appreciated very much the care given by the Ambassadors and this definitely enhanced the festive atmosphere in the hospital.

葵涌醫院 - 明月星輝中秋嘉年華
怡和親善大使於九月廿五日參與葵涌醫院舉辦的明月星輝中秋嘉年華，並為花燈設計比賽擔任評判，在各病房院友的參賽作品中選出別具心思的傑作。他們又送上由金門建築捐予「思健」的四十盒精美月餅給院友，讓他們感受到社會各界對他們的關懷，為這個傳統的節日增添氣氛。

Magazine Donation
The Re-integration Group has collected over 2,300 magazines from various Group companies since the launch of its 'magazine donation' activity for the Castle Peak Hospital and Kwai Chung Hospital in October 2003.

This charity activity not only keeps patients abreast with what is happening around the world and in the local community; but also enable them to learn to work with others during the work flow when they collect magazines from Group companies and distribute them to the wards.

A media company (IKEA's business partner) has generously agreed to donate some 200 magazines to MINDSET per week starting October 2004. About 3,000 patients of two non-governmental organizations and two hospitals are going to benefit from this new supply.

We sincerely hope that all Group companies will continue to support this meaningful activity.

雜誌捐贈
融合小組自二零零三年十月開始至今已從集團轄下機構收集逾二千三百多本雜誌，以送贈予葵涌及青山兩間醫院的病人。此項活動除了讓病人與外界保持連繫，更使他們於收集與分配雜誌的過程中學習與別人一起工作。

一家為「宜家傢俬」商業夥伴的傳媒公司慷慨地答應由今年十月開始每月捐出二百本雜誌予「思健」，讓另外兩間非牟利團體及兩間醫院的三千多位病人受惠。

怡和親善大使希望各集團機構繼續支持這項有意義的活動。
