In Mind Finale
To mark the successful completion of the two-year pilot phase and the beginning of a new expanded Health In Mind Programme, a closing ceremony was held on 3rd July, 2004 at Landmark's Atrium. The programme completed with encouraging and positive feedbacks from students, their parents and teachers. Officiating at the closing ceremony, Mr Nicholas Sallnow-Smith, Governor of Mindset and the Chief Executive Officer of Hongkong Land, said, "I would like to express my wholehearted thanks to the partners who have given the programme an excellent start." The programme will be expanded to more secondary schools in the next cycle to benefit more students.
「Teen使行動」閉幕禮
「Teen使行動─青少年思健推廣計劃」閉幕典禮於2004年7月3日假中環置地廣場舉行，代表這個為期兩年的先導計劃已完滿結束，現正邁向一個新的階段。過去兩年「Teen使行動」的成果得到同學、家長及老師的確定。主禮嘉賓「思健」董事、香港置地集團公司總裁蘇兆明先生在致辭時表示，「我們非常感謝各個夥伴的支持，使這個計劃能夠順利開展。」該計劃將會推廣到更多學校，令更多同學得益。

To promote the launch of the Health In Mind website (www.healthinmind.org.hk),
MINDSET and the Hospital Authority co-organized an e-card competition
that was open to all secondary school students. Applicants can choose
one of the mental health topics in the website to design their cards.
Top prize of the competition is an iPod Mini worths over $5,000
which was presented in the Health In Mind finale held on 3rd July.
「Teen使行動」網站
為推廣剛成立的「Teen使行動─青少年思健推廣計劃」之網站(www.healthinmind.org.hk)，思健與醫管局合辦了一個全港中學生精神健康電子心意卡設計比賽。參賽者均以精神健康為主題設計其電子心意卡，冠軍已於七月三日舉行的Teen使行動閉幕禮獲頒贈價值超過$5,000的iPod
Mini乙部。

Workshop
on 'Drug Abuse'
On 24th April, guest speaker, Dr Ben Cheung, from
Kwai Chung Hospital shared his professional knowledge on drugs and
the adverse effects of drug abuse with 100 student advocates attending
the 'Drug Abuse Workshop'. The talk also featured a video clip on
a real life case of a drug-addict and invited an ex-drug-addict
to talk about his past experience and the improvement in his life
after having given up on drug abuse.
During the group
discussion, students talked about the best tactics of avoiding temptation
of drug abuse. They carried home a very clear and positive message
on drugs and as advocates, they will spread the messages across
to their peers in schools.
「濫用藥物」工作坊
於四月廿四日舉行的「濫用藥物工作坊」，葵涌醫院張醫生專業地向一百名學生講解各類毒品對身心的損害。此外，還有成功戒毒人士在影帶及現場講述他們的感受。學生對他們的現身說法留下深刻的印象。
藉著聽講及討論，學生對毒品得到正確的認識，身為TEEN使的同學們將會肩負重任，將有關正確的知識及態度帶給他們學校其他的同學。

Volunteer
services
A hundred of student advocates were divided into 10 groups to organize
volunteer services for various hospitals and mental health agencies
such as Kowloon Hospital, Tuen Mun Hospital and Castle Peak Hospital
on 27th March, 24th April and 22th May.
Led
by Jardine Ambassadors and Hongkong Federation of Youth Groups counselors,
students designed games and other activities such as hiking, barbecue,
wall painting and cookie baking class for patients. Through organizing
the activities and de-briefing sessions, students gained better
understanding on mental illness and appreciated the opportunity
to have close interaction with patients.
義工服務
一百位參與「Teen使行動」計劃的學生，在怡和親善大使及香港青年協會社工的帶領下，分成十組，分別在三月二十七日、四月二十四日及五月二十二日到各醫院及精神病康復者組織進行義工服務。
各組根據有關機構的要求，設計了不同的活動，如遠足、燒烤、問答比賽、曲奇製作及家訪等。
學生透過活動和服務後的分享，加深對精神病患者的認識，學習正確跟他們相處的態度。

A seminar on "What to do when your child is
having examinations"
was conducted by Dr Raymond Chan, the Clinical Psychologist of Kwai
Chung Hospital, on 24th May to more than 100 parents and teachers.
Dr Chan explained why students are afraid of taking examinations,
described symptoms of anxiety and taught parents some tips in managing
their children's negative emotions. Jardine Ambassadors shared with
the audience their past experiences and how they value examinations.
Parents found the topic useful and most of them stayed through the
very end of the seminar.
家長教師培訓講座
「子女要考試，家長怎麼辦?」這題目吸引過百名家長及教師出席在五月廿四日晚舉行的「Teen使行動」家長教師培訓講座。
葵涌醫院臨床心理學家陳穩誠博士向在場家長分析考試焦慮的成因及徵狀，並提供處理子女焦慮的有效方法。
怡和親善大使亦分享他們從學校走到社會工作奮鬥的心路歷程，及對考試的種種體會。
部分家長表示這類有意思的講座應該經常舉辦。
