Objective

The objective of the Fund Raising Group is to generate funds to support various initiatives undertaken by the Education and Prevention Group and Re-integration Group. To achieve this, the Fund Raising Group organizes a wide range of fund raising initiatives, and the best known of all events would probably be the Walk Up Jardine House.

In 2006, over 400 Jardines staff, business associates, families and friends, and 70 secondary school students took part in this annual fund raising event and raised HK$1,550,000, the most raised since the race was first held in 1985.

The Fund Raising Group also works closely with other charitable organizations like the Community Chest in organizing joint fund raising events to support other mental health related causes.
