The Community Chest of Hong Kong

For the year 2007/08, Jardine Matheson Limited, Hongkong Land, Dairy Farm, Zung Fu, Gammon Construction and other Group companies' donation to the Community Chest will be allocated to the following agencies to fund mental health related projects: Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service to fund its mental health project for the youth; Christian Oi Hip Fellowship Limited of the Mutual Help Group and Resource Centre for its ex-mentally ill patients; Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong for its vocational assessment and intervention enhancement project for people with mental illness; and New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association to fund its assurance of quality care for residential service.

2007 Golf Tournament for Special Olympics

Organized by the Hong Kong Special Olympics, this Golf Tournament aims to raise fund for the intellectually disabled athletes of Hong Kong to take part in the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games to be held in Shanghai, China.

The World Federation for Mental Health
2007 World Mental Health Congress

MINDSET co-hosted The World Federation for Mental Health Congress in 2007 in collaboration with the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong College of Psychiatrists. Bringing together mental health workers, educators, consumers, carers and professionals, the World Federation for Mental Health Biennial Congress held in Hong Kong was a worthy initiative that helped promote mental health in the international arena. MINDSET and a number of Group companies supported the Congress by making both in-kind and cash donations, including hotel accommodation jointly sponsored by Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and The Excelsior; food and beverage provided by Maxim's Caterers and 7-Eleven Hong Kong.
